Comment: This area is just to the north of Cave 1Q, and in the centre is survey Cave GQ12. The slope in which Cave 1Q is found is shown just on the left. Jaufat Zabin is the flat-topped hill in the background. The spur in which the Cave of the Column was excavated is on the far right. This picture can be placed to the right of ASOR1952-07 to create a continuous view of the range of hills. This picture is published in DJD III, Pl. I:4. It is part of a composite picture published in Humbert and Chambon (1994: 202-3, Fig. 415).
